ISME 18
18th International Symposium on Microbial Ecology

ISME 18 is the 18th edition of a non-profit symposium which takes place every two years. The conference is the front runner in the field of microbial ecology, with an average of around 1,750 international scientists attending the conference. ISME 18 will take place in Lausanne from 14 – 19 August 2022.

Among the members of the local organizing committee are Christof Holliger (Chair), Jan van der Meer (Co-chair), Rizlan Bernier-Latmani, Sara Mitri, Philipp Engel, Gilbert Greub, Vassily Hatzimanikatis, Christoph Keel, Grégory Resch, Ian Sanders, Yolanda Schaerli, and Pascale Vonaesch.
