First NCCR Microbiomes Events in 2021

The NCCR Microbiomes brings together a large and diverse group of researchers from several scientific disciplines, from microbiology to computational science, engineering or medicine, to name but a few. This growing community will have several opportunities to get together in 2021, hopefully also for live gatherings. We are happy to announce the first events of our NCCR!

NCCR Microbiomes Exchange Day

PhD students, postdocs and technical staff of the NCCR Microbiomes will get together on 23 February 2021 for our first Exchange Day. This event will foster collaborations between the young scientists of the NCCR, by offering them a platform to share knowledge, expertise and ideas. The first Exchange Day will take place online, but we look forward to future live editions.

First NCCR Microbiomes Retreat

The first NCCR Microbiomes Retreat will take place on 9 June 2021 in Kandersteg, Bernese Oberland. The retreat will provide the PhD students and postdocs of the NCCR with the opportunity to meet their peers in a casual atmosphere, present their projects and discuss scientific questions. The first NCCR Microbiomes Annual Meeting will be held on the following two days, which will allow the community to solidify the contacts built during the retreat.
