Jan Roelof van der Meer receives 2025 FBM Communication Award
Jan Roelof van der Meer has been awarded the prestigious FBM Awards 2025 for Communication by the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne. The NCCR Microbiomes director, and Professor in Environmental and Evolutionary Microbiology in UNIL, is distinguished for “his remarkable involvement in creating diverse outreach activities to highlight the crucial role of microorganisms in ecosystems and human health”.
